The best time to play golf on Maui is in the morning! The afternoon trade winds usually kick-up between 11a and 12p and can make golf very unpleasant to play. Usually, as a rule, Maui golf courses are less crowded in the morning. This fact makes for a very pleasant golf experience as there is less waiting on tee boxes and in fairways. We understand, that for some courses, there is a huge price difference between morning and afternoon tee times. With that being said, the budget minded golfer will be booking afternoon tee times. This means the courses will be very crowded and pace of play will be slow. And, in some cases, one may NOT finish all 18 holes! Do yourself a favor, book a morning tee time at one of Maui's fabulous golf courses and enjoy your round instead of wishing you just didn't save a few dollars. Trust us, the extra money spent on a morning tee time will be well worth it.
